Ethereum's Changing Carbon Footprint

As a blockchain oriented startup, we want to acknowledge the global concerns about climate change that sometimes single out cryptocurrencies for their environmental impacts.

Our platform is based on Ethereum, not Bitcoin, and the latter currency has somewhat cast a shadow over all of de-fi (decentralized finance). In 2022, Ethereum is making a significant change to the way it computes its transactions that will result in an over 99% reduction in energy consumption.
